Elephant Stable offers eight different accommodations: Pepper, Saffron, Lemongrass, Citronella, Vanilla, Cottage, Luxury Tent & Sir David Lin Bungalow. There are 3 stand alone properties and the main hotel Suites, divided into the Colonial Wing (original structure) and the New Wing. Fitted with hardwood floors and decorated in warm tones, air-conditioned rooms, all feature a seating area and all modern commodities.

The Sir David Lean Bungalow of the Elephant Stables is located about 2.5 Km away from the main hotel on top of a ridge at Anniewatte. It takes up the whole east wing of one of the most important colonial bungalows in Kandy, it has the most beautiful view in the whole area, from the top of the Anniewatte ridge overlooking Mahaweli River Valley. The bungalow interior has rare and beautiful antique furniture including collections that were made especially for Queen Elizabeth’s Visit. It has huge 2 bedroom Suite (Main Bedroom and Attached Bedroom with 2 Single Beds) and a private Living and Dining Area with views. There is also an amazing Living Room and Reception area full of beautiful antiques. One of the professional Chefs from the main hotel is always on standby to provide delicious private meals at the bungalow for guests on an exclusive basis.

Luxury Royal Tented Suite is 85 sq mts. The tent is partitioned with curtains that separate the huge living and dining areas from the Master Bedroom, that features a large poster bed, and a Second Bedroom that contains two Single poster beds. A beautiful bathroom with polished cement walls has been built inside the tent. The tent is fully air conditioned.

The Cottage is a large stand alone cottage in the garden overlooking the back lawn and pool is available for guests that require a lot of space during their holidays. The room is partitioned with a ‘cut out’ wall so that one area contains a ‘private’ bedroom with a Poster Bed and the other part contains a living area with two separate single beds. Ideal for families on lengthy holidays.

Vanilla Suite is located on the upper floor of the Colonial Wing with a 4 Poster Bed with an additional small interconnecting room containing a Bunk Bed. Perfect for families or guests that require additional space. Citronella suite is located on the upper floor of the Colonial Wing with a 4 Poster Bed and lovely views of Knuckles Mountains. Saffron Deluxe Colonial Room is located on the upper floor of the Colonial Wing with a 4 Poster Bed looking out over the pool and garden. It is furnished with a lovely blend of colonial and modern styles. Lemongrass is located on the upper floor of the New Wing, has an upstairs verandah with outdoor seating and overlooking the garden. The room also has a 4 Poster Bed and a very large and stylish bathroom. Pepper Suite is located on the upper floor of the New Wing with views on 2 sides over the garden and a wrap around upstairs verandah with outdoor seating. The room features a 4 Poster Bed and there is a separate changing area with a wardrobe recess.

Elephant Stable has one restaurant that offers a great spread: continental and sri lankan breakfast options (included), quick western style lunches, beautiful afternoon tea set in the shaded lawn, and set menu options for dinner that change every night.

Elephant Stables also has a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the hills and the town of Kandy, Apsara Spa with a broad variety of treatments, a world class bar and some perks: vintage luxury cars available for drives around Kandy, the Living Room area with a vast selection of Films from all times, the Reading Room, Vintage Games and a beautifully curated selection of Music available to all guests.
