'Just wanted to say thanks so much for arranging the villa for us in Sri Lanka and being patient with our seemingly never ending requests. We had a great week and the villa was just gorgeous. Rana and Santa were absolutely superb and looked after us so well. Hope we can return again next year!' S. Hardaker

With a private swimming pool and perfectly manicured lawn, this villa is a stylish beachfront option.

Newly-built the modern decor has a clean and light feeling to it, while maintaining a lot of character. The villa comprises of a huge living/dining room with open plan kitchen, and large chill-out sofas. There is also a bathroom with a shower, toilet and a changing room as well as a drying room, with washing machine and linen cupboards.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. These are air-conditioned and have wide sea-facing verandas for sun-bathing, leisurely breakfasts or simply nursing a drink and a book and staring out at the Indian Ocean. Please note the balcony has open sections around which guests will need to take care if they are travelling with young children.

There is a large veranda on the ground floor, which is immediately outside the living room, leading out to a swimming pool, beyond which there is the garden with a pavilion and swaying palm trees, looking out onto the Ocean.

The villa is fully staffed, which includes a chef, cleaner and night watchman.

Located just 10km from the historic Galle Fort, which is one of the best preserved Dutch forts in Asia, there is plenty to see and do. As well as the superb architecture, there is a host of well stocked jewellery and souvenir shops, as well as the famous Aman Galle or New Oriental Hotel as it was formerly. In Galle itself there are the Sun and Dutch House hotels and the renowned test cricket ground, and along the coast a number of beach front hotels and restaurants.

Guests can visit the wonderful crescent shaped beaches of Unawatuna, studded with cafes, bars and shops, and the PADI certified dive centre. Surfing can be found all along the coast especially at Hikkaduwa, Mirissa (also whale watching in season) and Weligama, the location of the celebrated Taprobane Island.

Immediately next to Sisindu there is a turtle hatchery, where you might see some turtles if you are lucky. Walking in one direction you will reach Aqua and other beach bars, in the opposite way you will get to the international 5 star Fortress Hotel.

Please note that the villa is home to a pair of very friendly dogs. If this is a concern we can ask for the dogs to be rehoused for the duration of your stay.
