We've just returned from a wonderful, relaxing stay at Rabot Hotel, cacao farm. Everything was beyond expectation from the warm welcome received from Judy and the team to the fantastic cocktails, the delicious food, the infinity pool and decking area and the 'Tree to Bean to Bar' cacao experience run by Cuthbert. We booked a Luxe Lodge which was well-equipped in 'contemporary colonial' style with one of the biggest 'monsoon' showers we've seen and iPod playlists especially chosen to accompany each part of the day. The rooms are 'open to nature' with the sounds of tree frogs and crickets to send you to sleep. Of course you can close the shutters but then you wouldn't wake up to a view of the morning sun lighting up the Pitons!

Rabot Hotel owns two boats and we were fortunate enough to use Boucaneer II on two very memorable occasions. We has a sunset cruise one evening – just me and my wife on the boat under the care of Captain Kurt. As we enjoyed cocktails and canapes we watched the sun set in the east, then the full moon rise over the island in the west and then to top it all off we were joined by a pod of dolphins. Two days later we were back on the boat for the West Coast Raiding Trip. Just the two of us again on 'our very own yacht' for a full day of cruising, fort visit, snorkelling, eating and drinking. How else to live like a millionaire for just over $300?!

We will definitely return to Rabot Hotel and have already recommended it to friends.

Restaurant

Our exclusive cacao cuisine and spectacular setting has made Rabot one of Saint Lucia’s most popular foodie destinations. As a guest at the hotel you’ll be in prime position to enjoy it all, whether you’re sipping a fresh Cacao Bellini at sundown in the stylish bar, or delving into our pioneering cacao cuisine menu.

We welcome children to our restaurant and on our experiences, but must insist that they are not allowed to run around without parental supervision due to the high elevation, steep inclines and rocks.
